Create Custom Location

Users can create custom boundaries using different draw types like Route, Point Buffer, or Polygon.

Steps to Create Custom Locations:

  1. Navigate to Settings → Map Management → Location
  2. Select Manage Saved Areas
  3. Click the New Area button
  4. Select Point Buffer 
  5. Name the custom area ("School Zones")
  6. Upload a point file (School Points)
  7. Set the Point Radius to 0.5 miles
  8. Click Create to finalize the boundary

Result:

  • A new custom area is saved under Manage Saved Areas
  • The boundary is saved in Location Management and can be used in layers and workflows
