Change the Legend

Customizing Data Visualization — Create and modify legends to better represent your data analysis.

Instructions:

  1. Locate the Legend panel and open it
  2. Click on the default legend called 'Sunrise' to view a list of legend themes
  3. Select a Legend from the list (e.g., 'Ignite')
  4. Click 'New Legend' to create a Custom Legend where you can:
    • Select the Layer (e.g., Traffic Speeds)
    • Select the Metric (e.g., Avg. Speed)
    • Click + Add Step to define new ranges and styling
  5. Click the Edit Legend button if you want to edit a custom legend you are currently viewing
Outcome: The map reflects your new color scheme and labels, with the legend dynamically updating color-coded data ranges based on your configured steps.
