      Create Custom Map Layers

      Users can create custom map layers to display point, line, or area data.

      Steps to Create Custom Map Layers:

      1. Navigate to Settings → Map Management → Layers
      2. Click the New Layer button
      3. Upload a point file (School Points)
      4. Name the custom layer ("School Locations")
      5. Set the category to Safety
      6. Preview the dataset with Customer
      7. Match the dataset’s geometry field as required
      8. Click Create layer to save 

      Result:

      • A new custom point layer is created and appears in the layer section
      • Layer is accessible in maps and analysis tools
