Data Management Overview

The Data Management section in Settings is designed to create and manage Locations, Layers, and Legends. It provides simple tools for adding, editing, and organizing these elements as needed.

Navigation Structure

Tab Sections

  • Location Management: Define custom boundaries and integrate related data
  • Layers Management: Build and organize personalized map layers
  • Legends Management: Customize and maintain visual legends for map elements

Key Workflow Summary 

  1. Create Locations: Define areas using draw tools like point buffer, route, or polygon
  2. Integrate Data: Upload datasets and link them to saved locations
  3. Build Layers: Create map layers from uploaded files or drawn features
  4. Set Up Legends: Add visual legends with colors, labels, and value ranges

Important Notes 

  • Custom locations and layers are used across maps and workflows
  • Linked data appears directly on the map for easy analysis
  • Layers must match the correct geometry type to display properly
  • Legends improve map clarity by explaining the data visually
  • Changes in Data Management update instantly across the platform
