How to use display filters within Insights Reports
1.0 Introduction
Insights enables you to apply display filters based on custom thresholds to highlight road links that satisfy them and removing any links that do not. This makes it easy to quickly highlight links where speeds are above a specific threshold to plan enforcement or road safety, as well as filter links where congestion delay is doubled to prioritize traffic management investments.
2.0 Applying Display Filters
Follow these steps to apply display filters on any layer within your Insights reports.
Step 1 - Select a layer within Insights
With an Insights Report opened, select the layer you want to filter within the layer panel on the left side of your screen.
Step 2 - Set the minimum and maximum display filter thresholds
With your desired data layer selected, open the map legend on the top right corner of the map. You will see a scroll bar with the title 'Display Filter' with a minimum and maximum value below on either end of the scroll bar. You can either manually drag the scroll bar ends to set your threshold, or manually type in your minimum and maximum threshold. After dragging the scroll bar or inputting a threshold value, the map will update to only show links that satisfy the thresholds provided.
