Exporting Insights Data

How to select and export data in Insights

1.0 Introduction

Insights offers the ability to choose which report datasets you would like to export so that you can continue more detailed analysis locally or share results with others.

2.0 Exporting Insights Data

The following steps explain how to export data from Insights to Data Hub, and then Download the data:

Step 1 - Select Export to Data Hub

While reviewing an Insights report, select the ellipses at the top of the left navigation panel and select "Export to Data Hub".

Step 2 - Set Save Parameters

On the right side of your screen the export dialogue will present itself.  Here you can set a name for your dataset and can add your own custom tags to keep your data organized.

NOTE: There is no need to select which data layers to export because all data layers for a report will be exported and processed as individual files by default.

Step 3 - Download or Delete Data

Exported data will be stored in Data Hub where you can review the status of data processing.  In Data Hub you can Download, Edit, or Delete the data.  Downloading the data will give the option to save a local copy of the data in CSV or Parquet file format (.gzip). Deleting the file will remove it from your Data Hub.

Step 4 - Edit Data

You can edit data exported to Data Hub with the ability to adjust the Dataset name, add or remove tags, and adjust what category the data is placed within (see image below).
