How to create and favorite Routes for Reports.

Learn how to create custom Routes and save them as Boundary Presets for reporting performance measures.

TIReS Performance Measures can report on any Routes added to the Location Builder. Routes are available as Boundaries when you are building a report.

This article is a tutorial for users to Build and Favorite their first Route.

 

⚠️ Route Reports are only available for Routes saved as Favorites. This tutorial will demonstrate how to build, save and favorite a route for performance measures reports.

Routes

Build a Route

Users must build a route in Location Builder to create TIReS Route Reports.

  1. Select Tools from the Workspace
  2. Select Location Builder (https://portal.urbansdk.com/builder/location)
  3. Search a location or select a County
  4. Click on map, to draw a polygon to contain the Route
  5. Add a Location Name
  6. Select Advanced Segments to make a precise route by removing road segments  
  7. Select a Road Segment to remove
  8. Select the Trash Can Icon to remove
  9. Save Route

Add Route to Favorite

Users must save a Route to Favorites to have it displayed in Boundary Presets for performance measure reports. Once a Route is saved, it is available in Datasets: Locations. Users can edit, delete and Favorite saved Routes.

Add Route to Favorite Locations:

  1.  Select Datasets from the left side menu.
  2. Select Locations
  3. Scroll or Sort All Locations table to identify the route you want to favorite.
  4. Select the Options (three dots) icon
  5. Select Add to Favorite
  6. Select Favorite Locations tab to view, edit or delete Favorite Locations.
