Population by Gender datasets are reported once per year by the United States Census. The data reflect the number of persons identifying as either male or female by the Census categories. The data sets range from 2015 - to 2020 and have been aggregated to census tracts.
The Census Bureau collects information about an individual's genetic, and biological sex. This question is phrased specifically to focus on the biological makeup of a population. The Census survey offers the options for identification of sex as male or female as of 2020.
