      Create Custom Legends

      Users can create custom legends that define how data is visually represented across map layers.

      Steps:

      1. Navigate to Settings → Map Management → Legends
      2. Select the Custom tab
      3. Click the New Legend button
      4. Choose the target layer ("Traffic Speeds")
      5. Select a metric (Avg. Speed)
      6. Name the custom legend ("Custom Legend")
      7. Click Add Step and configure:
        • Set value: >10 mph
        • Choose color: Red
        • Label: "Calming Priority"
      8. Click Add Step again and configure:
        • Set value: <10 mph
        • Choose color: Blue
        • Label: "Non-Priority"

      Result:

      • A custom legend is created and applied to the selected layer
      • Map visuals are updated based on the defined rules for clarity
