A summary of the County Boundary specification.
1.0 Introduction
The County datasets are reported once per year by the United States Census. The data reflect the counties in the defined search region. The dataset is available to download through the Urban SDK Data Hub for the years 2015 - 2020.
County Definition
Counties reside in states. Multiple counties form a state. Counties are divided up by geography, political authority, or a mix of both depending on the state.
Counties can encompass cities, towns, and, or rural populations.
